Refund policy

BePirate™ creates custom digital portraits, drawn 100% by hand by human artists, based on the photos and instructions provided by the customer.

The digital drawing is a bespoke, handcrafted work and, as such, is non-refundable and not subject to the right of withdrawal, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) covering custom-made goods and digital content.

❌ Refunds NOT allowed (digital drawing)

No refund is available for:

  • the digital portrait
  • the artist's creative work
  • revisions already carried out
  • change of mind after work has started

Once created, the drawing cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded, because it is:

  • personalised
  • digital
  • created exclusively for the customer
  • non-reusable and non-resellable

📦 Refunds allowed ONLY for physical products

Refunds are only possible in the event of issues related to:

  • ❗ damage to the physical product (print, canvas, frame)
  • ❗ shipping errors

⚠️ In these cases:

  • the refund or replacement covers the physical product only
  • the cost of the digital drawing is non-refundable, as the creative work has already been completed

🚚 Shipping of physical products

If the physical product arrives:

  • damaged
  • defective
  • different from what was ordered

We will review the case and proceed with:

  • reprint
  • replacement
  • refund of the physical product only, if necessary

🎁 Digital products

Digital portraits:

  • are delivered in digital format
  • are bespoke, personalised works

👉 They are non-refundable under any circumstances, but we remain available at all times for any corrections if the final file does not match the approved draft.

📌 Acceptance of terms

By placing an order on BePirate™:

  • you accept the digital and handcrafted nature of the product
  • you acknowledge that the drawing is non-refundable
  • you accept that any refunds may only concern physical products and shipping
