Production & Shipping Policy

Our artists are fast, but this product remains a drawing and a work of art that takes time to create. Below are the details on production and shipping times for our digital portraits and physical products.

Our website, www.bepirate.nl, sells both digital products that can be shipped immediately by email and physical products. Shipping times may vary, especially if your cart contains items that require different shipments — for example, a One Piece–inspired beer mug and a digital portrait.

Digital Portraits

Creating the Digital Drawing:

The digital drawing takes on average between 3 and 7 days to complete. Once the design is ready, it will be sent to you by email for your approval or to request changes.

Once the draft is confirmed, refunds no longer apply. In addition, after the draft has been confirmed and the portrait has been coloured, no further changes can be made to the portrait.

Sending the Digital Drawing:

Once we receive your approval, your digital drawing will be sent to you by email with the links to download it.

Physical Products (Frames, Canvases, Posters, Beer Mugs and Other Products)

Shipping and Delivery:

After approval of the digital drawing, if you purchased a print such as a frame, a canvas, a poster, or other physical products like the One Piece–inspired beer mug, we will proceed with production and shipping. Delivery of physical products takes 3–5 business days within the Netherlands and 3–7 business days in the rest of the European Union.

Purchasing the Unsinkable Ships

For the purchase of the Unsinkable Ships, if you buy a ship that turns out to be out of stock (among the available models: Polar Tang, Going Merry, and Thousand Sunny), you must contact us directly, as indicated on the site. If we do not receive any contact within 48 hours of purchase, we will send the model available in the largest quantity among those in stock.

Combined Delivery Times

If a customer purchases both a digital portrait and another physical product from our site, we will do our best to get everything to you as soon as possible. However, please note that the digital portrait will be delivered first, as it is sent by email right after your approval, while physical products will require the production and shipping time indicated.

Refunds for Digital Portraits (if applicable)

Digital portraits are custom-made according to the customer's specifications and cannot be returned. Once the draft is confirmed, refunds no longer apply. In addition, after the draft has been confirmed and the portrait has been coloured, no further changes can be made to the portrait.

If there is a problem with the digital file you received, such as significant errors or quality not meeting expectations, contact us within 14 days of receiving the file at info.bepirate@gmail.com to resolve the issue. We will do our best to fix any problems and ensure your complete satisfaction.

Return Policy for Physical Products

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

Any item not in its original condition, damaged or with missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
